Georgetown Recreation Center
The Recreation Department operates a year-round recreation center that is open to all citizens.
The Recreation Center is located at 1003 North Austin Avenue. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 5:30am – 9:00pm. We are open Saturday from 9:00am – 9:00pm. To contact the Recrecation Center please call (512) 930-3596.
The center features two full-size gymnasiums; two racquetball courts; two multi-purpose rooms available for instructional and wellness programs, including aerobics and martial arts; a weight room with a Cardio Theater TV system; locker rooms with showers; Indoor pool, outdoor seasonal splash pool, special events room, indoor walking track, indoor spinning area, a children’s activity room with games, toys, attached playscape, and movies for ages 1 to 7; a game room equipped with pool, ping pong, hockey and foosball tables (currently under renovation).
